This was an incredibly gripping Horror/Drama, with a hint of Sci-Fi. Like most Stephen King novels/short stories, there is an element of the human struggle, be it fear, prejudice or vulnerability. Not all have happy endings, and there is not an overwhelming amount of violence for violence’s sake. The characters are believable and you really begin to feel for all of them. I was completely involved in every one of their stories from the very beginning to the very end. That being said, there were a few special effects that seemed to be a little unbelievable. Thankfully, they don’t take away from the story.
