What came in this week on DVD?
David Fincher‘s imaginative fantasy/romance The Curious Case of Benjamin Button really ought to be the highlight of this week’s new releases – after all, it stars Brad Pitt and Cate Blanchett in Oscar-nominated performances, has groundbreaking visual effects, and comes from a director who has given us some fantastic films over the years. No doubt it’s at the top of our list, but our reviewers were equally impressed with the grown-up romance Last Chance Harvey, starring Dustin Hoffman and Emma Thompson, and the indie drama Wendy and Lucy, starring Michelle Williams.
