As written and directed–if you want to call it that–by Zach Cregger and Trevor Moore, both members of the comedy troupe The Whitest Kids U’ Know, Miss March is a bottom-of-the-barrel gross-out comedy รก la Van Wilder and the Harold and Kumar flicks that will offend pretty much every demographic, save for teen boys and college jocks.

Cregger plays a high school do-gooder who on prom night falls down some stairs right before almost losing his virginity and wakes up four years later, thanks to childhood buddy Moore whacking him with a baseball bat, to discover that his sweetheart (Raquel Alessi) is a Playboy bunny.

The movie abounds with scantily clad Playboy babes, topless women, jokes about pee, poop and blow jobs, and enough f-bombs, courtesy of a risibly raunchy rapper (Craig Robinson), to give Grandma a heart attack. We also get to watch a pair of hot Russian lesbians make out like mad, see one of them work some magic on a door lock with her tongue, and hear such charming terms as “turd-cutter.”

Aside from Alessi, women are degraded to a big degree here, and Cregger and Moore seem more than aware of the slights, as they include a patently unfunny scene in which a bouncer claims he hates it when women are disrespected. They also take the time to ridicule firemen.

I did laugh, though, when a woman Moore is about to sleep with on said rapper’s tour bus suddenly gets bounced out the window. There’s also a funny bit involving a stripper pole, a strobe light and Moore’s epileptic girlfriend (Molly Stanton), as well as an amusing scene where Moore and Stanton dine at, and snap pictures of, a restaurant they think is nice simply because it lacks a drive-thru window.

I also liked Moore, mainly because he makes his sex-obsessed character a cheerfully oblivious fool and so it actually seems kind of endearing that he knows the Playboy mansion’s address by heart, refers to the place as a cultural landmark and has a heart-to-heart with Hugh Hefner himself. He’s funny in a good way, unlike the recurring joke of Cregger crapping his pants. – [DVD]
