A fascinating little film on an infamous fashion designer, Valentino was born in Italy in 1932. He became interested in fashion at the young age of seventeen. After many years of study, he opened up his very own small fashion store in Rome. Although small, his fashion house became the signature for couture fashion. Valentino has created some of the most stylish and creative designs, yet easily wearable expensive fashion.

This is an excellent documentary for anyone who is interested in fashion. Not just fashion, but Valentino himself, as it is about him and his passion. Valentino is 77 years old and no longer creating new clothing. He is the last emperor of clothing because he was one of the first great male designers of woman clothing. – [DVD]
