The movie opens up with two little girls playing ouija on the floor of a bedroom. Jump to present day, Girl number one pulls out the game and plays it and plays by herself. She lets her friend Laine know that she feels weird but does nothing. Then kills herself. This is the opening… so i haven’t ruined anything yet.
Laine finds Debbie’s suicide conspicuous and decides to investigate. Which just happens to be the same week her father goes out of town. With the help of her sister and her friends they play on the same ouija board in the house where Debbie committed suicide. I find it hard to believe that Debbie’s parents would just let five friends come over all the time after the death, but since they are also apparently on vacation, the house is open to everyone. Horror and suspension ensue, thus bringing a fairly decent scary movie to the table. This is the perfect movie for a slumber party, mixed in with Pitch Perfect, The Conjuring, and Insidious. – [DVD] [Blu-Ray]
