This started out as a smarmy review of No Strings Attached. I’m not proud, I pre-judged the movie based purely on Ashton Kutcher.

Man, did I not want to watch Fair Game. I remember the actual events, and I just wasn’t in the mood to relive the mistakes of the Younger Bush administration. Also, I’m not a big Sean Penn fan. He strikes me as kind of a jerk most times. I’m sure he’s [...]

Everyone has already told you to see Waiting for Superman. I’m not going to be any different. It was a heartfelt and moving foray into the crumbling American education system.
Just because I say see it, don’t think I’m endorsing it as a “good” documentary.

Grown Ups is the story of five childhood friends who are reunited for the funeral of their beloved coach. Adam Sandler is the successful one, [...]

The most recent film from action director Antoine Fuqua, Brooklyn’s Finest is the story of three seemingly unconnected cops walking the Brooklyn beat. Ethan Hawke plays a detective with money problems, namely buying a house for his pregnant wife and apparently unending stream of children. Don Cheadle plays an undercover drug [...]
